Workplace Ministry



Did you know your work is your calling?


The Bible speaks to this in Colossians 3:23,24: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”


As we move towards the end of this year and into 2020, we encourage you to join us and learn more of how to live out your faith in the workplace. When you do, lives will be touched, and communities will be transformed.

Brief History

WCBN started June 2016 as a Christian Referral Network. Since 2016, It has been made clear that the purpose of WCBN is to be a workplace ministry


The Mission of WCBN

  • Our Mission IS specifically to Reach, Connect, Equip and Influence others

  • Our Mission IS NOT specifically to create revenue generating referrals; however, we expect, encourage and promote referrals between our members


The Mission of WCBN

Reach

  • Reach Workplace believers as a strategy to

  • Reach the lost through a mobilized and equipped workforce

Connect

  • Connect Workplace believers to each other and

  • Connect non-believers to Jesus

Equip

  • Equip Workplace believers to Intentionally, Passionately and Confidently live out their Faith@Work

Influence

  • Influence our businesses, communities and culture with Biblical Principals & Truths and The Gospel of Jesus Christ

Our 2020 Vision

Our vision for 2020 is that we will continue to follow God’s lead and His timing. We will continue to refine and improve our weekly meeting preparation, presentations and communications. In 2020, we expect to continue to grow our membership in breadth and depth in the following areas:

  • Increase member participation – Leadership, Focus Team Members, Community Involvement

  • Increase ‘traditional’ business model owner participation – Small Biz with Employees

  • Increase WCBN and member influence in our community – Engage Business and Faith Organizations

  • Increase and report member business and spiritual successes – Details TBD

  • Measure our results – Details TBD

  • Add G.P.S. (Group Problem Solving) Workshops – Provide Group Support for New Business Ideas, and Transitioning Businesses

  • Grow our prayer ministry
