Guest Speaker - Mike Frost

You are invited to join us this week as we hear from the CEO of Cyber Security, Mike Frost!
Mike became a complete quadriplegic after a spinal cord injury. In spite of that, he has gone on to start businesses and serves on many boards. Mike has an incredible story and we are honored that he is willing to share it with us!

Mike was born and raised in Florida. He moved to Georgia in 1977 and graduated from South Cobb High School.
1978 – Moved to California and worked at a facility for the mentally challenged.
1982 – Suffered a spinal cord injury while body surfing in Mexico, leaving him a complete C5-6 quadriplegic. Mike returned to Atlanta to undergo extensive rehab at The Shepherd Center. After six months of therapy, he moved home to live with his father in Marietta.
1983 – Was referred to the Tommy Nobis Center rehabilitation center as a client, to become “job-ready.”
1984 – Hired by a new “start-up” phone company called MCI as a sales executive in the Atlanta branch – during his 15 years at MCI, he was awarded 9 Director’s chair awards and a 3 time Chairman’s Inner Circle winner.
1992-Received the WXIA-TV/11 Alive Community Service award for his dedication to community service.
1998 – Left MCI and founded TelPlus Communications. For 23 years he has served as CEO of TelPlus Communications, a vice and data IT firm.
2017 - acquired CyberGate IT – a Digital Security consulting group.
Mike and his wife Martha have 4 adult children – they worship at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Woodstock. They enjoy camping, fishing, and working on their farm in Tennessee.

Tommy Nobis Center (Advisory Board)
